I need a Translator Device in Spanish that is as good as Google Translate.
I want one that will translate whole sentences and not just the every day translator , that really is only for words and the odd phrase.
Advice Appreciated !
Kind Regards !

There is already a thread on this subject . I explained how to download translate app to phone or tablet and use it whilst out and about without needing internet connection.

Well, kind of incredible.
Translators still aren't up to much so are best used for simple expressions rather than whole sentences.
Translation is still a career choice, the boffins at Google haven't managed to change that yet.

Nothing is perfect but I found the google translate with downloaded languages a huge step forward without a need to be online. You just need to try and keep the sentences as simple as possible.

It was a joke Bob :-)
How do you know that a translator is doing a good job, meaning, if somebody is using a translator to create a sentence in a foreign language, presumably he/she wouldn't know whether the result is good or not.

Got you, I base my view on the fact that last year I had to use it a number of times to arrange the painting of my house. I sent and received texts and although not perfect I could get the gist of what the text replies back were and it showed the painter had done the same with my texts. He came at the time agreed with the paint etc and for the price said, so from my point of view it worked. Be better of course could I speak more Spanish. It is useful that with texts you can do it direct from the translator app.
Star Trek had a perfect translator but only downside was only used when captured by alians!
