Default aerobatics (not as good as the red arrows)

Just spent a nice lunch hour or two in the sun on the terrace watching the Spanish aerobatic team practicing. They are based at St Javier so sometimes fly over here. Having spent many hours in my garden in the UK watching the Red Arrows practicing, they Spanish team didn't seem quite as good, and they appear to be only 7 as opposed to the Red Arrows 9

Saw them earlier doing a few stunts in formation, it was interesting viewing whilst having lunch on the balcony.

Saying that, The government (UK) is considering removing funding of the RED ARROWS display SQN, (Sorry I'm ex Mob), and as this is probably now the only real pageant we have left apart from the Edinburgh tattoo, perhaps you would like to support the petition that is on this site to prevent the closure of this Asset.

I also had to put "expat" in the address box before it would accept the vote.

Yes so did I, and apparently the Red Arrows are somewhat self funding as they doput the UK in front of other countries when they perform, and often do so when reps from the UK government are trying to get arms deals etc.
