adopting a dog

1 Attachment(s)
I have been thinking for a while of getting a puppy, so on Saturday me and OH went a new place in Gandia just to "have a look" - well that was a fatal mistake !!!!! couldnt believe how many dogs they had there, some have been very badly mis-treated, it was very upsetting and if I could of I would of taken at least 5 home with me

but we came away with a cute little fella, who is about 1 year old - he seemed to take to us straight away and is very loving and likes lots of cuddles, my son has named him Sam which suits him

so if any of you are in a position to take in a dog (they also have cats) then please contact them - S.P.A.M.A on 626 390 567

hes a bit camera shy but this is him taking a nap

He looks cute, does he do puddles and poos or is he house trained, he looks a bit like a friends campo dog that adopted him, just turned up and 18 months later is still there. Trouble is he has never stopped growing!!!! he is huge, and his feet are even bigger, but what a sweetie.
Luv Eve

Always wanted a dog but we decided it would tie us down too much

Always wanted a cat here but don't want to be tied down again, was hard enough to leave my cat behind in UK!

no he is pretty much house trained so only one pee pee on the floor so far - and he will be bi-lingual as my son and his friends talk to him in Valenciano

can you recommend anything for "dogs breath" and "doggy odour" ???? we have bathed him twice but he still pongs a bit, bless him - and to be honest Sam (the dog) cant take the smell of OH anymore !!!!!!! :p

no seriously, anything to get rid of doggy whiffs ?

I get my Dogs doggie chews. You can buy things like pig's ears from Tesco. Not sure what you can get over there? It helps break down the bacteria in their mouths and 'cleans' their teeth. Failing that - buy a child's toothbrush and childrens toothpaste. It's a bit of a fight at first but they do get used to it.
