Allow me to point out something to you, somethhing you might not be aware of, Just because someone doesn't support you personal views, it does not make them wrong. It's a matter of choice, a choice our Fathers and Grandfathers fought wars and died for, to defend!
If a man wants to become a "woman"..... their right.... do I have to like it? it's my choice!!!!! Mine and mine alone!
JUST WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE OR HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD THINK?

I missed the first 2 episodes but saw the Benidorm one and the Lorca one. The young couple seem fine and assuming they have a decent place we would both be happy to stay with them. The older couple are a nightmare, so far up their own backsides and lacking any humour. We would find staying with them dire even if they have the Ritz of B&B. Benidorm just isn't our cup of tea and it did seem a bit on the grubby side but Julia seems a good sort. Yesterdays place was lovely and they guys very welcoming and would definitely be happy to stay there. Thought it was funny though that they were promoting clothes optional around the pool yet had the woodburner going full blast.
I thought the breakfast fuss was a bit silly.

Just watched channel 4, 4 in a bed, it is featuring British owners in Spain,it tonight it was a small hotel in Benidorm run by a man who had a sex change 30 odd years ago and is now a woman, (being diplomatic and I dont want to put the wrong techincal description here and have a pubic slapping).
The place was 30 odd guest place, rooms a bit grubby, it seemed that the most important aspect of the place was the entertainment, with emphasis on the sequin and feather type acts.
Tomorrow the hosts are 2 gay men, with a swimming pool and the guests have been informed that bathing suits are optional.
The week winner will be announced either tomorrow or Friday, not sure which.
Did anyone else see it, or has anyone ever stayed in the Queens Hotel Benidorm?

Could you imagine a new reality tv format where regulars of BE forum are invited to a live discussion....a kind of come dine with me
We could discuss gays, race, UK versus Spain, integration

Though I don't know about the dining bit.
Probably be pots and plates flying in all directions.
Will you be referee and dish out all the red cards ?

I ran a business in Benidorm for three years and consider myself unshockable because of it. I loved my time there, despite some hairy moments.
You can mock people with strange habits, but, seriously, at the end of the day, you're the strange one, an intolerant fool whose knowledge of the world is limited to the brothers Grimm.
The trouble with turning men into women, even after they've cut the offending bits off, is the need for razors, not ladyshaves, but strong ones, the ones that men use.

How many of us would happily book into Julia´s hotel then? Personally I would have walked out immediately, programme or no programme I would not stay anywhere dirty and I would definitely not have eaten there.

Not me...the outside was enough. I suspect it does well with a certain clientele though. I quite like her/him, a very calm person.
