Im looking for a long term rental in Jaeva

4/5 bedrooms 2bath min with private pool and gardens

Now here's the hard bit the villa must have a telephone line so we can arrange an ADSL connection from Telefonica

i have looked on kyero, eyeonspain, thinkspain and cant find anything suitable

Any help very greatful

I'm pretty sure amberandjason have/had something along those lines

where/which agents have you looked at?

there are tons of agents & a lot available at the mo

I have looked at everyone on kyero.com

have a look in the costa blanca news online

there's an idea - or there're a lot of agents


I'll have a think later

Only one place with ADSL listed there and its an apartment

I thought people was dieing to rent there houses out in spain????

So where is everyone!

Thanks for the link, but that was the first thing i did.

then looked all over kyero, and now looked over the local paper

and NOTHING......its like the 1980's in spain, no where has internet its crazy!

You may find that an owner will expect the tenant to have ADSL installed due to the costs involved! Concentrate on finding somewhere to rent that has a landline, then use the checker on the Telefonica site to see if ADSL is available, assuming you can get the phone number. A phone line and ADSL works out at about €60 to €70 a month just for the service!!!
And also, it's only the younger generation of Spanish and businesses that see the need for internet access.

Could be dangerous for them to have it and let their house out to god knows who as they would be liable for any downloads etc.

Thats what i have been doing, but finding a villa with a landline is near impossible :curse:

there are lots of villas - we rent (not a villa though we have rented a villa in the past)

we have always had to have the phone installed ourselves - and the internet

look for a villa first then find out if it's possible to have a landline & ADSL installed
