Come to think, there's also a security thread which you started yourself.
Never mind, the more the merrier.
I don,t think we,ve heard the last of the security issue yet by a long chalk.
No doubt some smart arsed media guys will be running around showing how easy it is to penetrate and no doubt they'll probably be right considering the type of staff these security firms attract.

After all we Brits and the media thrive on bad news.
God forbid if someone should say something positive it will probably cause a riot.

isnt that why companies employ PR/Media companies - to put a positive spin on things, counter every negative with 2, 3 or more positive.
regrettably the voice is too muted to get over the clamour of those who have found negativities - such as police and cleaners living in shipping containers in conditions that should have the fluffy bunnies from Human Rights hopping around in circles (but even they are keeping quiet as there is no real kudos for them in this)

I thought it was good to see the volunteers helping to welcome athletes at Heathrow yesterday, apparently they could communicate in over 20 different languages between them and all were recruited from in and around London. Just shows how diversity can bring benefits.

Anyway, I reckon people have become a bit skeptical of "positive thinking" lately. Look what it's done for Europe.

Bet they thought they'd landed in the wrong country.
On an even lighter note BBC just reported problems with water logging at the rowing venue.
Makes leaves on the line seem quite feasible.

a simple question: if athletics is near to excercise why do it?
if you are fit you don't need excerise, if not, you shouldn't do it
