we have been looking at rental accomdation, moving in September - some of the places are really nice + are at quite good prices! only about 3k for the first month, do you reckon that will be ok? so much stuff isn't sorted!

No, going in March/ May time, but lived there for a few years a while ago.

Just go easy on going out until you find some kind of work.

On a trip a few years ago a mate and I spent £500 in one night in Palma!

you have 3k sterling thats about 4400 euro s at the currant rate , i would say take the more the better its a big gamble to go out there with not enough money behind you i would think it through very carefully before hand by the sound of it you dont really sound ready with only a month to go lianne

Hi Lianne , welcome to BE ,I hope everything goes well for you and wish you well,BUT are you sure you have done enough research into area,s etc.where you could poss.find work,3K does not seem much to be starting with,you will need to find work pretty quick to survive,I dont know how old you are,but maybe you could consider a youth hostel or a cheap studio to start with.The salaries are a lot lower than here,have you considered what type of work you will be looking for,do you speak the language.......you have a lot to consider,I wish you well and the best of luck..............
