How sad is this. My heart breaks for the family. Will this kind of stuff ever end? As a mother, I can't imagine what those poor people are going through.

I have been sharing her photo all across Facebook with the hope that it helps find this rotten filthy scoundrel who has taken her.

I feel for this poor family and really hope they won't do anything to this little girl. Hopefully they will find her safe and sound although unfortunately these things usually don't "end" good. What must her parents go through....the nightmare of every parent.

When I lived in Blackpool, all I heard on the news was moaning tree huggers saying let your kids walk to school and leave the car home and let kids play out instead of vegitating at a computer.
It's a very sad time we live in when we have to do the above to keep kids safe :@( Lets hope this child is found safe and well

If you let your kids walk to school - the biggest risk they face and most likely cause of death is being driven into by somebody else dropping their kids off.

My 5 year old plays with her 8 year old sister outside at 7pm at night here in NS. I love that they can. They are often out of sight although they have been told to stay in our road. All the kids play like this.
Small communities in Wales are simliar in this respect.
I think its a tragedy that this is now not safe in that community, I hope that never changes where I am.

7:30 at this time of year is very nearly fully dark, and the child should not have been out unsupervised especially at only 5 years old. I agree it's a tragic situation, but parents have to take responsibility, there were no adults around at all, and the only clues the police can get are from questioning the other children.

I dont wish to be picky but it was at 7pm. I think that at this time of year, its most prob still light then, it is here. Mine is out at 7pm at 5 years old, although shes back in soon after that. I am just saying that its a damn shame that this shit is happening in small `safe`rural communities. Is nowhere safe?!!!
