Can't blame him, at his age I'd be fed up to with all the grown ups yakking away.

Hope you don't mind my "butting in" here, Bordy...but being a mere visitor on and off to Melbourne, I take great interest in the site and have been watching the build-up to the Melbourne meet. Well done! I'm glad it went well, you had a good turn out and it would be great for you all to meet up and have a good old natter...I'm pleased it was successful after all your organisation.

Great to hear you had a good meet up. Quite a crowd now.
Hope I'll get a chance to catch up with you all when I come over. I'm starting to count the weeks rather than the months.

Cheers Bordy for arranging the get together.

Like the BBQ idea for the next one; picnic in the park or at the beach with no kicking-out time & more for the kids to do.

Thanks again, Booboo's Hubby.

So sorry we missed it and I was dying to meet you all! But very glad so many turned up.

Our flight arrived early morning on the 4th and we had trouble with the motel and had to organise to be moved to a nicer one as well as feeling groggy and tired and not having any warm clothes. Remember how cold it was? We'd have been as much fun as 2 wet farts (sorry- very crude but true).

Anyway it was all uphill after that: we loved MEL, loved the people and have a very good chance of work. We got home yesterday and have decided we're coming for good with the children early next year all things being well. Our application is being sent off today!!! House going on the market in a few weeks. Wish us luck...

Thanks for texting me to say you couldn't make it.
Hope Melbourne lived up to your expectations even though the weather wasn't at its best.
