Smile Finally, Centrelink sorted...

I thought I'd let anyone who may be in the same position know what sort of timelines we have had.

01 Dec 03 Application received (sub class 138);
04 Jul 04 Medicals requested and sent off;
27 Jul 04 Letter received from DIMIA letting us know Centrelink would be contacting our sponsor;
06 Sep 04 Our sponsor still had not heard from Centrelink, so he contacted them and arranged an appointment.
11 Sep 04 Sponsor interviewed;
13 Sep 04 Bond paid and told by Centrelink should only take 3/4 weeks for us to hear;

It really is a good idea for your sponsor to contact Centrelink if they have not heard. I faxed a copy of our letter to my Sponsor and Centrelink before the interview and it all went off with no problems.

We are waiting to exchange on our house - not entirely sure where we are going to live while we wait for our visa, but packing like mad.
