What is the gay scene like in Toronto?

I come from a very gay friendly city with lots of bars and clubs that cater to those tastes. I'm curious to find out what Toronto's gay scene is like!

No, but I mean all my research so far has been on websites that are biased towards moving to Canada. I want to hear real opinions, not propaganda.

How have you found emigrating to Canada? What are the things you wish someone had told you? Good points and bad points?

I'm going to Toronto in January for 8 months. I'm sick and tired of Edinburgh, it's a beautiful city but I've lived here all my life and I need a change of scene.

But January seems so far away....

Yeah it's a pitiful $10/hour.

I get almost $15 here. Which isn't brilliant, but I get by pretty well!

I guess my next plan is to try and save even more money before coming out to try and lift...
