Re: Well done England (and Wales!)

We could definitely see an England NZ final as they seem to be the class teams at the moment. That said I wouldn't be putting any money on NZ to lose. I can only see Australia going one way in the...

Re: SERIOUSLY BIG STORM HITTING BRISBANE!!!

Re: UK citizens now have NO absolute right to return to the UK

Most are able to debate the subject in a sensible polite manner without having to resort to abuse, I did slip once but that was totally justified given who it was directed at :)

Re: Stay in UK? or GO TO OZ???

No one else can tell you whether you should stay or go to be honest, it is something only you can decide. When was the last time enough visited Australia, where did you go and what we're your...

Re: ABC Q&A

I think the perception that there is a left bias in either the ABC or the BBC comes down to a far right bias of the viewer.

Re: ABC Q&A

I saw Abbott this morning speaking about the death of Phil Hughes, he is totally unable to look or sound sincere.

Re: The Cricket Thread (...and other sport)

Well I didn't want to be the one to say but yes, I was referred to as numbnuts and an idiot for asking relevant questions. To say he would be fine was premature and way out of line without specific...

Re: The Cricket Thread (...and other sport)

Indeed, very inappropriate comments in the circumstances. Very tragic news and it's something that will weigh heavy of the bowler for a considerable time to come.

Re: It's not often I miss England.... But...

Absolutely, generally the winters aren't as cold or long and definitely nothing like the regularity of snow that many were used to. The interesting thing about climate change is that it is expected...

Re: Where have you/will you settle once back in UK?

Yes that's true, I don't think I could have pointed to Herefordshire on a map before we bought a house here but now we feel as though we have been here forever.

Re: It's not often I miss England.... But...

It was certainly more common 30 or so years ago, my parents told me about many white Christmases. It may or may not be down to climate change but there has been change even during my lifetime.

Re: UK citizens now have NO absolute right to return to the UK

Re: UK citizens now have NO absolute right to return to the UK

You will have to forgive me as I don't have an Oxford Education so I tend to have a rather simplistic outlook on life,...
