I think that if you break the rules of any visa your are likely to be booted out and the chances of future visa's greatly compromised.

I didnt mean it to sound like that, but my field is hugely understaffed in Oz and only set to get better/worse (depending how you look at it).

Thankyou MP. I am aiming for a 175 this is just in case I cant get everything sorted before im 35.

I shouldnt have any trouble finding a sponsor its just finding one you like I guess.

I do understand your point. When I moved from the north to the south I gradually built up a new network of friends, but my now ex wife just couldnt do it and constantly pined for her old friends.......

In quite a specific area of medicine.

Im not yet 35 so it seems young professionals struggle to get in, lord knows how someone 44 (max age for 175) would ever manage it.

From what I have been told SS isnt much quicker than 175 visa, and does tie you.

If I was you I would go 175.... unfortunately i've just lost modl points and either need IELTS or ss to qualify...

I hate to say it but I think its a case of sitting tight and waiting to see what the csl/sol/modl changes will be in a couple of months.

All the GSM visa's seem to be up in the air right now.
