If you are coming over here on a Temp visa you would be better to apply as a UK citizen, you get better medicare cover

Hi Chunduri,

I'm in a similar situation, I recieved sponsorship from Vic as a Production and Plant engineer, and my 175 visa is being processed as an Electronics Engineer.

I ran them this...

Thanks for your input,

I think you may have mis-understood my original point, surely if DIAC is saying that CSL occupations are a priority for Australia right now, they should be given extra...

Hi All,

Was wondering what happens with occupations on the CSL but not on MODL - how to DIAC justify not giving extra points for these occupations as CSL gets priority over MODL?

I'm in a similar boat - I've already applied as an Electronics Engineer, but have SS as Production / Plant engineer - really don't want to have to spend another 2k, can anyone help!
