and could that be because they are afraid they'd feel pressurized by you living with them. maybe a week or two might be OK.... but how long do you plan on staying/living with them?

tbh i'd sell your sofa and armchair....i'm sure it's nice but the furniture here is quite big and bulky as you say compared to the UK. one friend took furniture back 4 yrs ago and could not even get...

many many hospitals here, lawyers etc etc plus we are in the oil corridor all of which keeps our location buoyant...

we have a house in surrey which is home but will always keep a base in the...

the thing is, when hurricanes come through the people that own the $2/$3/$4 mil etc mansions in Houston and infact throughout the gulf hurricane areas can afford to buy another if it all blows away....

i don't know the reason why peeps don't insure. same as i don't know why peeps buy in flood areas, but they do. maybe it's the cost which i suspect but perhaps they just don't know.
