'finalised' means that they have received the medicals, processed them at the Health Operations Centre and forwarded their assessment on to the...

I rang DIAC early friday morning to quiry my application and mine has now changed to processing further from commenced..

One bit of advice i can give is to go to your GPs and ask them to printout discharge letters for operations you've had in the past...

We did this for our meds and Dr checked over them and put...

I totally agree with you...

Our agent was 100% on the ball and told us to go for SS ASAP, without their advise we'd had probably still been undesided..

Also i rang DIAC last thursday...

I WASN'T REFERING TO HAIRDRESSERS, BUT THE TIME IT TAKES TO TRAIN TO BE AN ENGINEER.

At the end of the day like i said it doesn't take 2 minutes to become a tradesman..

All in all it has taken...

If tradesmen have been removed from the CSL it does not mean they are not gonna stay on the MODL..

After all if that was the case every single occupation thats not on...

Hmmm...Just a thought, but if you read this on latest update, its possible that all CSL applications on the old list upto yesterdays announcement could already have been allocated to a CO...

The first page is updated by HOC and if meds show finalised then this is a good sign that there are no health issues..

The second page that still shows required is updated by the CO..

Yes we stuck with timescale of "lodge application, wait 6 months, do meds etc"

Also agent advised us that being on CSL it wouldn't hurt to send meds and police checks early..

Even though we are 175 CSL, it affected our timeframe too..

Originally after lodgement we were informed CO's were being allocated to cases around 5 months after...
