Got our COPR on Monday! I rang CIC call centre today and now just have to wait for the office in Halifax to send me an appointment to land. Hard to believe we are nearing the end of this...

We got our med requests yesterday! Been in NS nearly six weeks on WP's so really thrilled to get our med requests, fingers crossed be PR's by the summer!

We've used Goldmans too and were worried as now in Canada on work permits. Advised Goldmans to update CHC London with our Canadian address but although they will do this they said...

I always forget about the prairies as they were never on our radar because they are landlocked. Being near the coast is an important issue for us so we only ever really considered east coast or west...

Thanks RDofD, yes doesn't make sense does it, why not process our PR while they're at it. Sadly it doesn't work like that. We are a bit nervous about going this route but alternative is to wait...

Don't get excited, still waiting for meds for PR but have received med request for my TWP application.

OMG! Just checked ecas and we are finally "In Process"!

A week after e-mailing CHC re 8 months since AOR. Can't believe it. :fingerscrossed:for med requests soon.
