Re: Leave entitlement from work

You are correct. Expedia gives the total taxes and fees and the taxes and fees for a roundtrip from San Francisco to Vancouver is $93 and the taxes and fees from San Francisco to Seattle is $31. So I...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

If you think those fees are high, check the fees for international flights to Europe which are around $400-$700 per passenger depending on the airport and size of the plane. I've seen airline ticket...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

That is because it flies the polar route to Seattle, San Francisco, and/or LA. Theoretically transatlantic airlines that fly through Vancouver should be able to give you a decent price but they won't...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

There should be very good deals in November and December as long as it isn't around Thanksgiving or Christmas but it also depends on where you are going. Winter is generally high season for cruises,...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

I don't understand why you would think that is unusual then. Most people in France take vacations in August when prices are at their highest. Also if I want to take a trip to Europe during the...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

You always seem to pick the worst possible scenario and base everything on that. First I suspect you are trying to book flights during one of the busiest weekends for air travel in the US (Labor...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

The subsidy for expanded Medicaid will drop to 90% after 3 years and then slowly fall to 70%. The other part that subsidizes premiums is scheduled to be paid 100% by the federal government with no...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

You only seem to believe what you want to believe.

I don't know where you got that information except from your imagination since there is nothing to back up your statement. The life expectancy in...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

What is interesting is that income in developed countries is typically about 66% of gdp. Therefore high tax countries need to have high VAT, gasoline, and other direct levied taxes to pay for social...

Re: Leave entitlement from work

It's not quite as simple as that. In the US, UK, Switzerland, Denmark, and Sweden, the top 5% own 50%-60% of the wealth of the country. Two of those countries have an extremely strong social safety...
