When using these companies you need to be a little clever.
The rate they show is the actual rate, remember they need to make money so will offer you less.

That's what I would do, Sydney is so expencive you can't afford to lose a penny.
Come to Melbourne, the cost of living is cheap but wages still high.

If you look on world first dot com this gives the current bank rate.
Expect to get a little less than this unless you change five million lol.

The rate hit $2.44 yesterday and $2.56 today.

I just changed some of my money and got a great rate.

Now just hanging on until December as...

It may not have got to $2.30 but $2.26 as it was yesterday is alot better than $2.05 when this thread started.

The good thing with these companies is, once you have agreed a price that is it.
It does not matter what the rate does after that.

I have worked out that with the money I have to change, at the bad rate of £2.05 that it was 3 weeks ago I would get £348,500, at £2.40 it would be $408,00.

I am in the UK so a little far for a drink.

My mate has said the rate should be at $2.30 by mid to end of September.

He is expecting it to gp to $2.45 by the end of the year.

It may seem a little high but I use them as I can speak to them on the telephone and agree a price there and then.
I am currently in the UK so it is better for me to use a UK company.
