Yes, we too had a wander around Penticton, we were not too enamored to be honest, we have fallen in love with Kelowna, we just need to find the right area now in Kelowna and then a house that fits...

This is also one of the HUGE reasons in moving to kelowna, there is everything there, in NL, you're limited with shops and places to go, it's an island etc... Quick question for the locals, are there...

Yes, I have a cheeky smile as my NL winter for the last 8 years have been brutal, tons and tons of wet heavy snow, back breaking digging and snow blowing and wet cold of -15's with a dirty wind chill...

Yes, I also read there is not much snow and that if it does fall, it's gone very quickly of its own accord. Well....that's one less thing to bring with us!

Hi Y'all,

So we are on the move, we just came back from a 2 week recce trip around Alberta and BC and we have decided that Kelowna is the place we want to settle after the Winter next year. ;)
