Re: Moving to Kelowna in mid 2016 info needed pls.
We got registered very easily when we arrived BUT it was all down to our neighbour who had known her doctor for years and asked him if he would help us out and that was all it took. Dentists are everywhere and i'm sure you will have no issues finding one that you like and that will be taking new patients.
I think that the walk in clinics offer a great service and have great opening hours for those that work. If you and your family just need the reassurance of a medical professional if you get ill then i think walk ins are perfect or if necessary ER. However if any of you have a medical condition that needs monitoring and referrals to specialists and maybe ongoing then having a doctor who knows you and your illness and history is always beneficial.

Yes, we have used WIC's here in NL when it's been out of hours and we never had a real wait, so all good, we will try and register somewhere anyways, but at least we have options if and when one of us gets ill. Thanks again.
