I have the same battle with ice in cider. They are convinced thats the correct way to serve it (even though it affects the measure of the drink :drinkingbeer:

I can't stand it with ice, dilutes...

When I came out in 2003 there was only a couple of pubs in Brisbane that did pints. Much more widespread now, I'd say in the city its the rule rather than the exception.

Its so weird, the stuff that gets stuffed in those "ïnternational food" sections isn't it! I remember going round Coles with a friend from work, and she commented that she felt very sorry for us...

City prices have always been shocking, but the few pubs that exist in the suburbs weren't so bad. My tatty local used to charge $6 for a pint pf Bulmers, then they closed during covid, turned...
