I had SE equity but still lost out thanks to the exchange rate......you can't win!

80-200k in 5 years is roughly the same our UK property increased way back between 1983 and 88, so it's not just Oz. I think Oz has just caught up with the rest of the world probably due to so many...

Oh yes, that wonderful thing called hindsight!

If we had had the "sight" we would have sold up in 2007 when we left when the pound was 2.48 and before the housing boom here in Mellie!
