Update: I just got my refund through. Paid on my LLoyds TSB debit card

Did you pay by debit card or credit card, and was that a full refund?? Reason I ask is I'm waiting for Lloyds to refund me - I paid via debit card.

Thanks - I paid by Visa Debit card for my flights. I've just got off the phone with lloyds and they've asked me to submit request in writing. They'll then send me the forms in order to process a...

"Visa debit" = debit card = pretty much same as paying via cheque.
"Visa credit" = credit card = merchant fees paid by vendor = customer protection.

You'll be lucky to get anything back

I paid for inlaws tickets via my UK lloyds debit card - 850 quid.

Spoke to Lloyds - very helpful, there is a slim chance of a refund, but I'm not holding my breath.

Inlaws had travel insurance...
