We were in Rio 2 years ago January. I said the weather there was similar to here in summer. At the time hubby disagreed...now he agrees.

After 39 years of marriage he still hasn’t learnt ...

You cannot begin to compare the summer heat/humidity and the brutal winter freezing temps here with those of the UK.

Today would have been the busiest day of the year for local businesses...they will suffer. The stalls are usually open in June but this year the guys down there said it’s only beginning of July to...

It is. They are one of the best firework displays I have ever seen...including Disney at Christmas and NY. :(

Edit: I read last night that they would be on Monday night at 10.30 but can’t find...

“Ashbridges Bay along Toronto’s waterfront’...not the Harbourfront.

There are plenty of sites listing the venues of the firework displays tonight. Non list the Harbourfront.

Unbelievably the main firework event on the Harbourfront has been moved to Monday night at 10.30. Very convenient for those working the following morning. :rolleyes:

No plans other than to enjoy the fabulous weather. On Sunday night we will have ring side seats to watch the Canada Day fireworks on the lake. :thumbup:
