If they put it in the recuruitment info you may never join but then if they did you would realise it's not all emptying bed pans... :D .

Exactly what it says except it is like a mushroom shaped tampon thing. You push it in flat sided then it sprouts the mushroom head once in and plugs the whole.

Just stand well back when you pull...

Better patient wasn't chuffed either.

Remember first time I came across an anal plug... thought God! we've been wanting them for years on the wards and nobody even said they existed... :D .

Axillary nurse once threw the ambi bag at me during an arrest on night shift and it shattered off all round the room. Did real mouth to mouth.... :scared: :scared: :scared: never again.... :D .

My son once had one of those realistic fake eyeballs... I put it in a bed pan by a patient on night shift then pressed the buzzer and hid... other nurses turned up thought it was patient then sh*t...

I've seen a man with a catheter in climb over his cot sides and make a run for the door with catheter tube as tight as a guitar string and still not coming out. Brought tears to my eyes it did and...

Yep...wonder what it would take to put a nurse off....did know one once who had been nursing for years who ran out of a room and vomited after popping a very nasty foot abscess.

Can remember 3 of us eating crisps going past a trolley with someone on being pushed by Ambo's, patient had blood streaming out of nose and mouth... we never missed a crisp just crunched and wondered...

And they will have the same sense of humour... as in sick. Well don't know if you can class Aussie police the same as UK as they are all mainly traffic cops... I even got a ticket for being in a bay...
