Wow, they are crazy! My concern would be around what would happen if I got made redundant or wanted to change jobs - no such thing as a job for life these days..... Very nice though :thumbup:

Been looking at various house listings - if it doesn't explicitly say "Cable Available", should I assume that it's not or that they just forgot to list it? Alternatively, how prevalent are DSL...

It probably wouldn't be - and cheap US flights may be even a selling point....

However, if I did want to move jobs or got made redundant, I'd be pretty much screwed and would have to move to...

Thanks for the suggestions so far - only draw to Ottawa is that the company HQ is there, so would make networking with colleagues etc easier, but it's not a necessity as the majority of the work is...
