yep i agree ..the prices are not cheap here if you want quality. there's just the two of us so i shop at wholefoods and we eat mainly fish and the guys in there know me and tell me what's fresh or...

ok the pennies dropped yep seen it in hotels, buffet breakfasts...must say not seen or heard of a chinese one or anything else except when in a hotel for breakfast...

hiya nope not taking the michael just not heard of buffet food....can't imagine.... is it like family style dining :confused:

don't think i've seen buffet food..... if it's loaded with msg then no wonder the poor sods that eat there are fat :rolleyes:

sorry to hear about your op last week ...yeah it might have been a bit premature to eat a curry however it sounded delicious...keep drinking loads of still...

disagree with you on that. one thing houston does have are some excellent restaurants however the prices reflect that especially if one adds on wine etc....equally the uk food standard is excellent...

hey honeymommy, yeah FRESH food/meats goes off quickly coz it's not sprayed liberally with additives hence the reason the lettuce goes sludgey, however it will keep a couple if days if stored...

hi and welcome ....yep you have to shop around...most of the grocery stores here do a limited stock of organic but i shop at wholefoods for fresh produce...think we've been spoilt by waitrose and...
