Only, as you say, that they require more maintenance. But I guess you're right that it's much easier than fixing a brick house when it does need repairs.

If that was true, then thousands of us wouldn't be moving each year. But, as others have said, obviously the benefits of living in the two countries will be different between different people......

Probably not. The other benefit of Canada is that in the worst case you can always go live in a hut in the woods where the chavs will never find you :).
