There are many things to do when it's raining - like sitting in a pub ;) but I wouldn't want to sit on the beach in drizzle :D

That is something that I have noticed myself. Far too many people seem to think that the weather is pretty much the be-all and end-all in consideration of a potential move here.

I like eating out, and I often either work late, or do something else up until I do. I used to take late eating for granted, but not any more, unless I just want a pizza.

Sydney's pretty pathetic...

9:30pm is usually the cut off in Sydney - some lower scale places serve later, but if you want a reasonable quality meal you need to get seated and ordered before 9.30.
