They don't send you goods to follow forms with your passport. They just include instructions telling you that you have to have a list of all of your belongings that are accompanying you, and a list...

Yup, that's exactly what I did. Got a letter about 3-4 weeks later from Mississauga confirming payment. And Cov-Canuck is a she, just in case anyone was wondering ;)

The problem with CAIPS (as I understand it) is that it can take up to a month before you get the details. On a spousal application that should take 6 months (approximately), by the time you receive...

We got home to find not 1, but 2 brown envelopes from the CIC! One from Mississauga, one from London. I eagerly tore them open to find:

We were told the same type of thing after the first call. The benefit for calling mentioned above is that they haven't got any way of checking e-cas, so at least phoning should give them a client #...

Let us know if you get any answers...at the very least they should be able to provide you with an 8 digit client number.

They can be pretty cryptic...our first phone call they mentioned something...
