There's a thing, the different markets make a huge difference. JonboyE says that realtors take years to build up contacts and I don't doubt that's true in a small town but in a perpetually hot market...

Ha! Around here it's rare that properties, except for recent severances, have ever been surveyed. They just run from road to road for approximately n acres.

You could limit yourself to fsbo properties. Not that I think this would get you a cheaper house.

The mls site used to be quite good, it's only recently that it's had that awful interface grafted on. I suppose it's maintained grudgingly as the people paying for it are the people who's livelihood...

Which is why I was surprised to see his listing north of Orangeville. It is gay positive in the country, Jill and Does aplenty, but not multicultural, oh no.

He has a billboard in Mississauga, on Erin Mills Parkway I think, there or Trafalger Rd. He also has a house for sale on highway 10 north of Orangeville with a huge billboard of himself. No offer of...

But that doesn't make for easy entry. The months, perhaps years, of not making a living wage is a barrier to entry.

If you have a house to sell and don't like the fee a real estate agent will charge to list it use one of the "for sale by owner" services such as The Property Guys.
