My neighbours could not move at that time because one of them had a life threatening illness.

Yes, my partner has rights as my very long term partner but it's not the same as having EU citizenship...

That's not much help for someone who just wants to come and go like they did pre Brexit. I'm also assuming they want to do it immediately, not in the future.

I doubt many EU nationals are interested in taking extended holidays in the UK. They might be interested in working in the UK but not six month holidays.

EES/ETIAS is not something that...
