Apparently that's not such a bad idea...however... you must make sure not to give any to the ducks.

I have it on good advice that if you give porridge to the ducks...it will make them quackers.

Have just read the official statement from the "Queens Swan Marker" at The Swan Sanctuary Charity in Shepperton, Middlesex, which says very clearly that despite a great deal of press...

Surely it must be better to feed the swans...than to see them starve?

Its a lovely part of the world & I can still remember the River Dargle & all the wild wonderful countryside.

Several years ago when I used to work in Ireland I would often stay at the Royal Hotel in Bray for weeks on end and on many occasions especially when the kids were on holiday from school I travelled...
