I was told to expect my passport back in two to three weeks.

Correct. The only payment to be made at the interview is the $325 visa fee. Most will have already paid it (unless you apply DCF) so do not need to pay anything at the interview.

It's not the courier fee, it's the visa fee. I applied via DCF, so I pay my visa fee ($325) at the interview. I believe non-DCF pay in advance, which it sounds like you have already done. The person...
