You can still go on a visitors visa, but you will need a return flight out of the country.

Thank you Kiwi14! Be aware that the secondary checks, which are meant to take 10 working days, took us 17 days because the office was very busy.

Great news! I received an email today stating that we have our partnership visa and we can pick up our passports next week. The whole process took about 3 and half months.

We put our forms in on the 5th of January and we got a case officer on the 24th of March, so we waited about 3 months. Based on this time you should hear from them by the end of this month.

I have just remembered something! If you apply for partnership visa in NZ it takes 6-9 months. The UK takes 1-3 months, most people on this forum have been completed in the 3 month period.

Hi returningKiwi, who told you this information? When we put our forms in, we were told it should take about 4-6 weeks. However we got a letter of reciept which stated an officer should be allocated...

HI KOH2, We applied for the visa in the London branch. Part of the application you have to send in your passports. However, we were informed that we can request our passports back if we needed to use...
