No not necessarily. Updating your online status isn't top of their agenda so sometimes they get updated immediately, sometimes they don't and you can be approved whilst the status could still read...

No it doesn't speed things up. In fact it can delay things because the liklihood is, with the length of time taken for visas to be issued, front loaded Meds and PCC expire and then need to be...
