Anti virus shouldn't normally prevent the use of Kodi , unless your already infected or the install exe was infected and not detected.

Perhaps the AV is set to the highest level , which iis rarely...

Macliam , your problem is that your firewall is preventing the program from accessing the internet , or the ports it uses?

Find out what firewall your using ,then add exception in your firewall...
