73 is way too young. You gotta have at least an 8 in front of it, and given your relative youth maybe even a 9!

I didn't like 28 (to close to 30); liked 40; not bothered from 50 onwards. Aiming to get to 150 (stretch goal) but will be happy with 120.

I did that in my early 30's and got another decade of youth before I managed to get out alive! Now mentally I seem to be operating at about a decade below my real age. So I think to some extent...

Sorry to hear those troubles. Ageism exists everywhere, despite official efforts to reduce it. If hubby is getting interviews that's a good sign, many older job seekers won't even get interviews. ...
