Unfortunately, it's not strong enough to cut cars in half...
I'm doing some upgrades next week though, so maybe it will cut a bit better than before.
Not cars though.

I stopped using my petrol hedgecutter; now I use a this diesel one.

I've had three deliveries from GLS this week, as well as a few during the last month; all were delivered. Calls made, driver found my place.
So I think there has been some efforts at improvement.

I seriously doubt the transport would divert unless you have a major delivery. It might seem easy, but it isn't.

But give them a call and ask, because you never know.

Delivery man made it to my neighbors place and asked if he was me; he told them where to go and asked the driver if he had my number.
Driver looked at the parcel; my second address line is...

2 deliveries I couldn't receive Wednesday because I wasn't home; both told me they would come back on Thursday.
The fridge came Friday, the other parcel is in the wind.

Here's how to get the delivery people to call you; go far enough away from home so you can't take delivery.
I had 2 call me today while I was 100km from the house.

I use my gps coordinates as part of my address; all anyone has to do is enter the numbers into any map program and it will show them to my front gate.
One driver did that once.

What, your road has a name?
Luxury.
Our road has no name and the houses along it aren't numbered; and it's a tarmac road that's used fairly heavily.

I just ordered some car parts from auto-doc PT; which is actually German. They usually send DHL.
But I just got the order confirmation and they've used GLS!!

[shock, horror]

I should have paid...

delivery contracts are given to the cheapest courier company [ie GLS]; they pay their drivers so little that they can't be bothered.
Other companies that charge a little more do deliver; DHL. MRW,...
