Except how often does a 6 month contract really mean "Its full time, but Im covering my arse in case its a bad fit and I want to boot you out after 6 months with no comebacks"

Thats probably a conservative estimate. But for some of us thats part of the appeal.

I sort of gave up trying to read through it, but my first impression is July 1st was only 6 weeks ago. Got to give it at least a year before you can be sure culture shock, home sickness and all that...
