Manchester is usually the one that gets picked on but it isn't even the rainiest city in the UK. There are quite a few UK cities that get more rain.

Which is exactly why I asked the question in the first place i.e. to find out what people liked least about the US. At the same time there was a parallel thread that asked what people liked the most.

Although there's also a much better chance that when you go see a movie (or just go to school or to a shopping mall) that some madman will show up and empty a loaded gun in the joint.
