That's a myth slapphead, the detector vans can't detect anything. Detector van evidence has NEVER been used in court. They rely on an address system and people falling for their letters.

the spare isn't a full size tyre and isn't suitable for belting up and down the pacific highway at 100km/hr, therefore is of no help

It's Brisbane, a conurbation of several million people, unable to supply a standard tyre for a Mazda CX-7.

Australia - summed up

Australia summed up in one incident - 31st December and my front left tyre develops a bubble on the sidewall of the tyre. Drive to 5 different dealers and they all tell me it will be 2nd week January...
