I prefer a keyboard when browsing too and have a small wireless keyboard/trackpad for typing onto the TV screen rather than the ipad.

The samsung TV remote works...

I used to have PC's connected to the TV etc but since going to XBMC I'd recommend it to anyone and definitely wouldn't go back to that method.

The smartDNS doesn't actually slow the speed down any similar to using a VPN service.

You can't save on the Samsung Smart TV's and it is for catch up TV's.

Nexicom. They installed the cables in October and went live in November. Great service and no complaints at all for $45 a month.

My new Samsung 'Smart TV' I bought here doesn't (not that smart then !)but my sons TV/Monitor he brought from the UK and uses for his PC has - though he uses the HDMI.

A simple and none techno way would be to burn onto a DVD and watch through your DVD player onto the TV.

The ATV2 can be currently jailbroken but the ATV3 cannot. The latest jailbreak that is due out this Sunday that will jailbreak the latest firmwares (6.1) will still not work for the ATV3 and there...

I have an Apple TV and jailbroke it and would recommend that to anyone. Install XBMC (I can send you links if you wanted) and then you can miss out any conversion step and just watch it on a live...
