Thanks for the top ten list.

I bought Sole survivor from ebay- hubby read it on holiday and found it a bit slow at the beginning but really enjoyed it after that.

Ok non NZ authors:
I read poisonwood bible in a bookgroup. Caused a lot of discussion I seem to remember. People either loved it or hated it. I liked it.
I love Josten Gaarder books : Sophies...

I've just picked up a second hand copy of 'some other country'. :)

I'm watching these on ebay so if they stay at low price I'll go for them. Great to have a few books ready...

I've just looked on ebay and found 59 books for sale. I see what you mean re old they were written in the 50s.

Thank you for those - the reviews on Amazon are worth reading.
The history of NZ looks like an interesting book to read before coming to NZ.

I enjoy reading and have belonged to bookgroups in the past. So here are a few questions for you. We did this on the OZ forum and had a great response.
