That sounds wrong unless you son had used up all the work time on his WHV, he could have trialled and started under the WHV and applied for a work permit - if the emloyment would have supported a...

I would have thought the logical thing to do is process a dependent child application as soon as the WHV expires (so no conflict on who is supposed to have been supporting him here - Bevs has a valid...
