I couldn't agree more. Both my OH and I were extremely lucky. He was over here 3 weeks before he got a job offer which is what brought us all the way down to Yarmouth. I then got lucky I suppose. ...

In principle I would agree but I found a job within a few weeks of being here despite not knowing anybody.

Saying that if I was in Halifax rather than the boonies I would be able to apply for at least 3 jobs per week. That's about 4 more than in the UK when I left in August! :sneaky:
