virtually but not identical.... as Alan notes, I doubt there's much in it between western nations. Even areas that appear different are likely more to do with reporting and categorization of offenses.

Population is a bit more in manchester and the total numbers of murders is a bit more so comparable to vancouver . As an aside, Moss side and Longsight have higher murder rates than some major metro...
