It's a balancing act and very fine line when racing "on the rivet". I was maybe one bottle of gatorade instead of that water away from winning, maybe if I had that gatorade I would have still...

Had a mixed day. Disappointed with my time and placing but I learned a whole lot about racing.

Came 4th in my AG for the short course. Swam a steady 22mins, biked a hard 2h33 and was tapping out...

Basically a bike session, where I strive for a certain power (read pedal as hard as I can) for 2 mins. Have a short rest then repeat 8 times. Do again but pedal harder than you thought you can for 1...

Same same, I'm usually at the autodrome on a Wednesday. Not tonight though, just had a 8x2+3x1 anaerobic session on the turbo. Can hardly walk. :huh:

Forget all that crap. Running should be enjoyable. It isn't when you are forced to do it and you run above your current ability. Go for a short jog, nice and slow and build up the time (not distance)...

I would say a wetsuit is compulsory for back home. Make sure you get fitted though as opposed to buying online. Really important it fits correctly. If it feels really really tight, then that's about...

1min30 off last year's time. Great race again, very well organized with great support.

One of only 4 to break the 2 hour mark for the Olympic distance. Happy days and sets me up...

I'll be there. Trying to beat last year's time for the Olympic distance.

Sat having a beer right now so I'll likely not perform well. Only a training and kit-check day before the big one in April....
