We had about an inch, inch and a half. Most of it had gone by the time I was on the road, 8:30 but there were still ploughs out.

No snow down on the 401 though.

If you want to get into exact measurements I don't recall England stopping for a just a half inch of snow either. An inch or so of the slippy stuff and no snow tires means trouble in the UK or here....

They don't like driving in wet snow here either and that's with snow tires. Most British roads don't get cleared as quickly as the roads here either, there just aren't the resources available....

When I went back to UK in the spring I was pleasantly surprised by the driving. The M1, M11, A19 and A1 were a delight compared to the 401. Even round Lakenheath with all those American drivers was...
